On Monday, August 18 at 4pm, at the Lenoir County Commissioners Meeting, the Commissioners joined the Kinston/Lenoir County Parks & Recreation Department in recognizing and congratulating the achievements of the 10-Under Kinston/Lenoir County Girls Allstar Team who won the 2025 Dixie Youth State Championships and finished as National Runner-ups.
