Lenoir County Seeking Applicants for Board of Equalization and Review

The Lenoir County Board of Equalization and Review is a quasi-judicial body responsible for hearing and deciding tax matters related to property within Lenoir County.

The Board reviews appeals concerning:
– The listing and appraisal of real estate
– Individual personal property
– Business personal property
– Applications for exemption
– Requests for exclusion
– Present-use value classifications

Its duties and authority are governed by North Carolina state law under North Carolina General Statutes § 105-322.
