Lenoir County Redistricting
Following the 2020 Census and the population changes in Lenoir County, it was apparent that changes to Lenoir County voting districts would be necessary to some degree. With that, the County Attorney has presented four options that meet the legal requirements for the County Commissioners to consider. One of these options must be adopted by the County Commissioners prior to the November 17th deadline. This information was first presented to the Board of County Commissioners at their regular meeting on October 18th for their consideration. For general input and questions about the redistricting process and the options presented, please contact the County Attorney, Bob Griffin (252-939-6368, bgriffin@dss.co.lenoir.nc.us).
